Date Set for Annual Rock the 'John Event

The date and time have been set for the 2013 Rock the 'John event. This exciting event, aimed to introduce the 2013-14 Clemson men's and women's basketball teams, is set for Friday, October 18 at 8 PM at Littlejohn Coliseum.

This year's Rock the 'John will take place during the middle of an exciting weekend on campus for Clemson Athletics. The Tiger men's soccer team will kick off the week on Tuesday, October 15 versus Furman at 7 PM at Historic Riggs Field. The game is designated as Tiger Cub Club Night and all Tiger Cub Club members will receive free admission when they show their Tiger Cub Club card. The Clemson women's soccer team will play host to Duke on Thursday, October 17 at 7 PM in a game designated as Breast Cancer Awareness night.

Friday (October 18) will be a busy night for Clemson Athletics. The Clemson volleyball and men's soccer teams will both be in action at 6 PM against Wake Forest and Pittsburgh, respectively. Later that evening, Rock the 'John will kick off at 8 PM in Littlejohn Coliseum.

On Saturday, October 19 the Tiger football team will play host to ACC rival Florida State in a game designated as IPTAY Day. The week will wrap up Sunday, October 20 with Clemson volleyball and women's soccer home matches. The volleyball team will play host to Duke at 1 PM in its annual Dig Pink match, while the women's soccer team will face Wake Forest at 1 PM at Historic Riggs Field.

Although all of the details for this year's Rock the 'John have yet to be finalized, fans can expect a fun, free and exciting event for all ages! Fans will experience exciting acts and player and coach introductions, and will have an opportunity to win great prizes and get autographs from their favorite players!
