Former Clemson offensive lineman Dalton Freeman has reached an injury settlement with the Houston Texans and was waived according to multiple reports. Freeman was removed from the team's injured reserve list with an undisclosed injury.

Freeman is a former New York Jets backup and was also a member of the Buffalo Bills last season.

At Clemson, Freeman was a four-time Academic All-ACC selection, two-time first-time All-ACC on the field, two-time Rimington Award Finalist, and first-team All-American by the Football Coaches Association. He was tied for first in school history in total starts and tied for fourth in total games played.
