"“He’s phenomenal! He’s the No. 1 receiver in this year’s draft," Carter said of Clemson's junior playmaker, "If he’s not the No. 1 receiver in this year’s draft he’s the No. 2 receiver. Versatility, they give him the ball on the move too. Very seldom do you ever see him with his back to the line of scrimmage. He’s a Florida kid too. He can flat out run with the football. There are guys who are fast, and then there are guys who are fast with the football. And Dabo and them do a great job play calling."

Carter then said how he would try and cover Watkins.

“In this game you really want to try and slow him down," he said. "You want to try to force the quarterback into some tight throws, because they’re going to catch some balls, they’re going to make some yardage against the Buckeyes defense, but trying to get turnovers and trying to hold them to the field goal.”
