Corso can't wear FSU costume due to a previous Clemson-FSU GameDay incident |
ESPN GameDay was in Clemson for #5 Florida State vs. #3 Clemson matchup back in 2013 and had the actor-comedian Bill Murray as the celebrity guest picker.
Murray picked the Tigers to prevail in the contest and then proceeded to jokingly kick Lee Corso's $%&! The famous actor eventually threw Osceola's spear into the side crowd that led to a ban of the FSU costume being worn by ESPN GameDay co-host Lee Corso. The Seminoles went on to a 51-14 victory over the Tigers in Death Valley. Lee Corso says he hasn't been allowed to put on Seminoles mascot gear on Gameday since Bill Murray stole spear and threw it at Clemson game.
