Clemson's Tillman Hall vandalized with graffiti

Clemson University's Tillman Hall was vandalized with spray paint graffiti on Monday.

The anti-Tillman graffiti said, "Tillman was a violent racist", "R.I.P. Sen. Coker" and "R.I.P. Sen. Pinckney."

Another wall said "Blacks must remain subordinate or be exterminated - Tillman."

No other damage appears to be done to the building according to the University and the police are currently investigating the graffiti to the iconic building. All of the graffiti was removed by 5 PM.

Clemson staff, faculty and students were off on Monday for observance of Independence Day.
