Clemson student named Miss South Carolina 2015

Senior Clemson University student Daja Dial was named Miss South Carolina 2015 at Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC, on Saturday night.

Dial is also a previous Clemson cheerleader and was named Miss Clemson University in 2013 and 2nd runner-up to Miss South Carolina in 2014.

She will now go on to compete in the Miss America Pageant on September 14, 2015 at 8 PM on ABC. South Carolina has won the Miss America crown two times - 1957 and 1994.
