Clemson stays in Top 3 of latest Coaches Poll

Clemson (8-0, 5-0 ACC) stayed at the #3 ranking with one first-place vote in the latest Amway Coaches Poll on Sunday afternoon. Michigan was only four points ahead of Clemson for the #2 ranking.

The #3 Tigers won 37-34 in a thrilling road win against Florida State on Saturday night at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles fell five spots to #19 overall.

Clemson is an impressive 18-2 in one-score games since 2011. The win was also the program's ninth straight road win which is a school record.

The biggest rise in the rankings was Oklahoma State that jumped up six spots to #22 while Boise State had the largest fall in the rankings dropping 11 spots to #24 overall. Tennessee, Navy, and Houston fell entirely out of the Top 25 rankings.
