Clemson ranked in Top 5 of ESPN's 2016 FPI

Boulware will be back for the 2016 season

Clemson is ranked 4th in the nation in the ESPN 2016 Football Power Index released on Thursday.

The top five for 2016 were LSU, Florida State, Oklahoma, Clemson and Tennessee according to the FPI. I won't believe the yearly Tennesse hype until I actually witness it on the field.

ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance for a season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is, and projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.

Clemson finished this past season with a final AP ranking of #2 which was the school's highest ranking since 1981.
