Clemson ranked in Top 5 for best small cities for sports fans

    | released its latest study on Tuesday that ranks the best and worst cities for sports fans in the United States.

The study compared 341 cities, varing from large to small, with over 50 key metrics.

Clemson was ranked the 20th best city for sports fans and the #5th best small city (fewer than 100K) for sports fans in the entire nation.

The City of Clemson was ranked overall #11 in football, #78 in basketball, #20 in baseball, #350 in hockey and #4 in soccer.

Boston, Denver and East Lansing were ranked the top three cities for sports in the United States.
