ESPN released Phil Steele's ranking of the nation's top 15 running back situations in college football on Monday and Clemson's was ranked #15 in the nation.

"Wayne Gallman had 769 rushing yards (4.8 ypc) as a true freshman," Steele said. "Last season, he rushed for 1,527 yards (5.4 ypc). He has three solid backups in C.J. Fuller, Adam Choice and Tyshon Dye. They also add Tavien Feaster, which makes this a deep and talented group."

Gallman has 444 rushes for 2296 yards and seventeen rushing touchdowns for his collegiate career.

All four of Clemson's backup running backs mentioned are former 4-star or higher prospects in high school.

Phil Steele's top 15 running back groups were LSU, Stanford, Oregon, Georgia, Florida State, Oklahoma, Baylor, USC, Tennessee, North Carolina, Western Kentucky, Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame, and Clemson.
