Clemson ranked #1 in ESPN's ACC Power Rankings

ESPN has ranked Clemson #1 in its ACC Power Rankings for Week 6 of the college football season.

Clemson (5-0, 2-0) defeated Georgia Tech 43-24 in front of a sold-out soggy fanbase in Death Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers' defense held the potent Yellow Jacket offense to 0-10 on its first 10 third-down conversions and also had 11 tackles for loss.

"Clemson built off a big win last week against Notre Dame and took care of business against Georgia Tech, jumping out to an early lead and never giving the Yellow Jackets much of a chance," ESPN stated. "It is early, and FSU is always dangerous, but the Tigers certainly look like they’re in a class of their own through the first five games of the season."
