Clemson included in latest NCAA projections

Crownover will start for Clemson on Wednesday.

Clemson has been included in the weekly projections of the NCAA baseball tournament field according to D1baseball.com.

The Tigers in the projections were sent to the Charleston Regional - (1) College of Charleston vs (4) St. John's and (2) East Carolina vs (3) Clemson.

Clemson was one of the last five projected teams in the field which also included Ohio State, Kentucky, South Florida and U.C. Irvine.

The Tigers swept Florida State over the past weekend with a combined score of 20-7. Clemson open ACC tournament play by battling the Seminoles again on Wednesday at 11 AM on RSN and ESPN3. The winner of the ACC tournament receives an automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA tournament.

Teams that were included in the first five projected out were Bradley, Missouri, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and UCF.
