Clemson to hold Charleston memorial vigil

CLEMSON – Clemson University will hold a vigil to remember the victims of the Charleston church shootings at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.

The vigil will include readings that reflect on the lives of the victims, followed by a ringing of the bells for each of them. The vigil will be streamed live online on ClemsonTV.

Several university administrators, faculty and students will speak at the event.

Students, faculty, staff and members of the community are encouraged to attend.
