by - Senior Writer -

Marine Captain Trey Kennedy attended both Wren High School and Clemson University, and is currently serving a tour in Kabul, Afghanistan. Sunday, July 5th is Trey's birthday and his uncle and aunt - Al and Jane West of Greenwood (SC) - sent Trey a Clemson paw flag per his request.

On Sunday, Trey was able to proudly fly the Clemson flag in front of the Resolute Support Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. This building serves as the headquarters for all U.S. and NATO personnel serving in Afghanistan. Happy birthday Capt. Kennedy!
