CU Series W-L record: Louisville leads 4-0

Streak: Louisville has won all four previous meetings

• Clemson takes on the No. 16 Cardinals on Sunday, and the Tigers are still in search of their first win as a program over Louisville, although last season’s 58-52 loss in the KFC Yum! Center was the first meeting of the two as ACC foes.

• The Tiger program has posted wins over coaches currently in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame each of the past two seasons. In 2013-14, Clemson beat Mike Krzyzewski and Duke, 72-59, and last season the Tigers downed Jim Boeheim’s Syracuse team, 66-53. Louisville coach Rick Pitino was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.

• Clemson defeated Syracuse in overtime, 74-73. It was the Tigers’ first overtime win against an ACC foe on the road since Feb. 14, 1987 at Virginia.

Landry Nnoko tied a career-high with 19 points and produced his first double-double of the season Tuesday by adding 10 rebounds.

• Sunday’s game will serve as Military Appreciation Day. Veterans and active military personnel will be honored during pregame, halftime and timeout ceremonies.
