Clemson-Syracuse Ticket Sales |
Joe Giansante, the chief communication officer for Syracuse's athletic department said that sales for the Clemson-Syracuse game were going well.
However, he did not want to speculate on whether the game would be close to a sell-out. While their presence will be obvious, the thought that Clemson will arrive in Syracuse like a barbarian horde, eating Dinosaur Bar-B-Que out of business, drinking the city's beer supply and turning the Dome into a neutral venue sound overblown.
Giansante said he expects a good-sized Clemson contingent and that the Tigers sold about 2,700 of their 3,000 allotted tickets. He said he also expected that a significant number of Clemson fans bought tickets on the internet rather than buying them through the school.
