Radio station WTPT 93.3 and Learfield Sports’ Clemson Tiger Sports Properties signed a two-year extension for Clemson Tiger football play-by-play broadcasts and the addition of Clemson men’s basketball and baseball on ESPN Upstate.

WTPT 93.3 The Planet, owned by Entercom, has broadcast Clemson football radio for more than 10 years, providing a regional signal blanketing all of the Upstate and Asheville markets. New this year, Clemson men’s basketball and baseball will air on ESPN Upstate on 105.9 FM and 1330 AM in Greenville and 97.1 FM and 950 AM in Spartanburg.

“We’re looking forward to the new addition of ESPN Upstate and providing additional coverage of men’s basketball and baseball,” said Clemson Director of Athletics, Dan Radakovich. “93.3 The Planet has been a trusted partner for many years broadcasting our football games, and we’re excited about the new additions to the coming athletic season radio broadcasts.”

Learfield represents nearly 100 collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas for their respective multimedia rights and sponsorship initiatives and offers these partners with professional concessions and ticket sales, licensing and trademark consulting, and in-venue technology systems through its owned companies.

Entercom Upstate runs six radio stations — B93.7, Magic 98.9, 93.3 The Planet, Classic Rock 101.1, ESPN Upstate and WORD 106.3 — reaching more than 700,000 listeners weekly.
