Clemson and Alabama in the Orange Bowl?

The official website and Twitter account of the Orange Bowl posted Tuesday evening that if the bowl selection process began today, Clemson and Alabama would face off in the Orange Bowl. Clemson is ranked 19th in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings (released Tuesday evening) and Alabama is fifth.

Here is what they said on their official facebook account: "Hey Clemson Football and Alabama Football fans! For the third straight week, according to the newly released College Football Playoff Rankings, if the season ended today, you'd be planning a New Year's trip to South Florida for the 2015 Capital One Orange Bowl!"
