had 7 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown and also had 36 yard receiving in a loss against the 49ers.
Ellington out-touched Rashard Mendenhall 12-11, but they continue to split snaps pretty evenly. However, Ellington is vastly out-producing the veteran. Coach Bruce Arians said Ellington would be Darren Sproles if he were ten pounds heavier. It's a pretty good comparison. Arians doesn't like Ellington as an every-down player, though it's clear he's the most talented back on the roster.
