responded to Louisville head football coach Bobby Petrino's notion that Clemson's Death Valley will be similar in crowd noise than their last game at Syracuse in the Carrier Dome.

Petrino said that following about Clemson's Death Valley: "And to be honest with you, it's going to be very similar to last week," Petrino said. "That was a loud place. I don't know if it can get any louder, even though the crowd (Syracuse) wasn't that big."

Spiller did not take kindly to Petrino comparing Syracuse to his beloved Death Valley.
