C.J. Spiller playing update |
Former Clemson standout
C.J. Spiller
C.J. Spiller This will give an offensive boost to the Bills (8-6) who are still in the middle of the AFC playoff race. Spiller had surgery to repair a broken clavicle after being tackled on a 52-yard run against the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 9. He was then placed on the injured/reserve designated to return list. “He’s cleared so I’m looking forward to seeing how he practices during the week,” Marrone told buffalobills.com. “He’s a guy that’s made plays in the past. Anytime you can bring back someone who is a potential playmaker, it obviously helps.” The Bills' have rotated Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon since his injury. For the season, Spiller has 69 rushes for 287 yards. Spiller will be a free agent after the season so it would be great news if he could show potential suitors that he is 100% healthy.
