Bowl Projection for Clemson

by - Assoc. Editor -

Bracketology Expert Jerry Palm has released his latest Bowl Projections and has Clemson (#3 seed) vs. Alabama (#2 seed) in the Cotton Bowl in the College Football Playoff.

National media pundits and fans alike would relish a matchup between the Tigers and the Crimson Tide.

"With difficult wins on Saturday, Clemson (ACC Atlantic) and Florida (SEC East) clinched division titles and spots in their respective championship games," Palm said. "North Carolina took a big step toward being the eventual opponent for Clemson with a 66-31 destruction of Duke."

The other College Football Playoff projection has Ohio State (#1 seed) vs. Stanford (#4 seed) in the Orange Bowl.

Clemson will play Syracuse on Saturday with a 12-game winning streak, the second longest active streak (Ohio State with 22) in college football.
