Watson has gotten high praise from national media this offseason

Bracketology expert Jerry Palm has released his College Football Bowl Projections on Wednesday and has Clemson in the Orange Bowl against Ohio State (#1 seed) in the College Football Playoff Semifinals.

Clemson is projected to win the ACC and is slotted as the #4 seed.

The Tigers (not Auburn) have had four straight 10-win seasons, a first for the program since Clemson had four straight 10-win seasons between 1987-90 and it also the first time the Tigers have won three straight bowl games since 1986-90.

TCU (#2 seed) vs Auburn (#3 seed) is projected in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 31. In the current projections, the Pac-12 conference was left out of the playoffs.

In-state rival South Carolina is predicted to play Virginia Tech in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 26.
