Bowers gives back to Bamberg HS

It was Bowers who selected the new uniforms and picked up the tab.

"He just wanted to do something for the kids," Bamberg-Ehrhardt head coach Kevin Crosby said. "He called and asked what we needed, and I told him we really didn't need anything. He said, ‘I'd really like to see you all in some black uniforms. He put it together and made it happen."

B-E Shrine Bowl selection David DeLeon said the team was energized by the look.

"We were very excited," he said. "We appreciate it very much. Bamberg has been looking for some new uniforms, but we never had the money. Da'Quan went and got us some great-looking uniforms."
