Booker hosts basketball tournament with NBA teammates

Some call the court at Springfield Park in Mauldin, legendary.

There's even a sign posted above the court that states "Home of Kevin Garnett."

, was sitting in the stands watching those games.

"I looked up to K.G. and it was a nice court and I just wanted to keep the tradition going," Booker said.

So he did, and he is now hosting his own tournament with Wizards' teammate Josh Howard. The three day tournament is called the Trevor Booker & Josh Howard Tru-Ballers 5 on 5 Tournament and it kicked-off Thursday night.

"It means a lot and I know it means a lot to the people and that's why I'm doing it," Booker said.
