Booker has surgery after pickup game injury

Former Clemson standout Trevor Booker broke his nose during a pickup basketball game recently and had surgery on Thursday according to team officials.

The successful procedure was performed in Salt Lake City by Dr. Richard Orlandi of University of Utah Health Care.

Booker should be ready to go when training camp rolls around.

In 79 games last season (5 starts), he averaged 7.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks per game.
