was picked with the #5 overall pick by the Washington Redskins in Sports Illustrated's 2015 NFL Mock Draft 5.0.

Beasley demolished the combine, putting to rest most of the fears associated with his size or speed. Adding him to the starting lineup with Ryan Kerrigan would again give Washington a fearsome 1-2 punch at OLB, while allowing Trent Murphy to remain in a rotational role. (via SI.com)

He wowed scouts at the NFL Combine with his the following stats - 40-yard dash time of 4.53, broad jump of 10-10, 20-yard shuttle of 4.15 seconds, three-cone drill time of 6.91 and 35 bench press reps of 225 pounds. He measured in at 6-3 246 pounds with 32 1/2" arms and 9 3/8" hands at the NFL combine on Friday morning. He accumulated 33 sacks and an amazing 52.5 tackles for loss at Clemson.

Other ACC players picked in the first round of the mock draft included FSU QB Jameis Winston (#1), Louisville WR Devante Parker (#11), Pittsburgh OT T.J. Clemmings (#25), Wake Forest CB Kevin Johnson (#26) and FSU DT Eddie Goldman (#30).
