had a decent game with 13 rushes for 53 yards and 5 receptions for 27 yards in Monday Night Football's 18-17 win against the Chargers. He was hobbling somewhat throughout the game and even took himself out after one of his catches.

He will be limited this week ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants and will wear a protective boot to get his foot "calmed down".

Ellington's injury is to his peroneus longus which is the muscle group that passes down the outside of the lower leg and turns out the foot. He said after the MNF game: "I had some quickness going from right to left, but it was a little harder going from left to right."

His head coach Bruce Arians talked about Ellington's injury: "You’re never going to be 100 percent until March as a running back in the National Football League."
