Allen remembers the 2012 draft costing him $1 million

Dwayne Allen was drafted by the Colts in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, and was considered one of the top tight end prospects for 2012. Many scouts and fans believed that he should have been drafted much higher.

From NFL.com:

You’re just watching as that money goes away,” Allen said. “You’ve never had it, but that doesn’t stop you from thinking, ‘Man, I’m losing money.’

“It’s a business. I understand that. But every day I play with that same anger I had on draft night. The feeling of draft night will live with me forever.”
