R.J. Webb - Athlete
Height: 6-3   Weight: 185   Hometown: Pickens, SC (Pickens HS)   Class: 2005
ESPN: NR

There are several athletes in the state of South Carolina that could project at several positions at the next level. J.C Neal, C.J. Byrd, Michael Washington, Rendrick Taylor and Mike Davis are a few guys that had good years on both sides of the ball last season. Another prospect who fits into that category is R.J. Webb of Pickens High School.

"I think I could play offense or defense," says Webb. "I just want to win."

Webb has heard from most of the SEC and ACC teams but, "My top five are Clemson, North Carolina, USC, Georgia and Florida," said Webb.

Webb has played all over the field including quarterback, running back, wide receiver and defensive back. It is his size, speed and versatility that has colleges interested but it was his 36" vertical at Clemson's camp that opened more eyes.

As far recruiting is concerned Webb says, "I am wide open. Coach Cooper is recruiting me for USC and Coach Blackwell for Clemson. I will know more after I camp throughout the summer."

Webb is listed as a athlete but we project him as a safety. He is one of the most intriguing prospects in the Palmetto state.
