13 Tigers on Athlon's projected 2016 All-ACC team

Athlon Sports has released its annual list for their projections for the 2016 All-ACC team and Clemson led the way with thirteen football players on the list.

Athlon's first-team offense was comprised of mostly Clemson players with seven out of twelve total (58.33%). The Tigers mentioned were quarterback Deshaun Watson, running back Wayne Gallman, wide receiver Artavis Scott, wide receiver Mike Williams, tight end Jordan Leggett, center Jay Guillermo and offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt.

Clemson defensive tackle Carlos Watkins, linebacker Ben Boulware, and cornerback Cordrea Tankersley were included in their first-team defensive team.

Tyrone Crowder and Christian Wilkins were selected for the second team.

Kicker Greg Huegel was picked as a first-team specialist while wide receiver Artavis Scott was on the second-team specialist team.

All of Clemson's All-ACC projections were from the first or second team lists.
