In May 2010, former Univ. of Alabama and NFL fullback Kevin Turner was diagnosed with ALS. Turner has become a leading advocate in the fight against ALS and its connection to brain injury. Kevin emerged as a prominent figure in the historic 2013 NFL concussion lawsuit settlement, but the fight is far from over for the thousands that suffer from this terrible disease.
