Radakovich discusses idea of selling Beer at Clemson games |
Clemson athletic director
Dan Radakovich
Dan Radakovich "We talked a little about that," Radakovich said. "It really hasn't gotten past first base. It's all part of that fan improvement and experience type of thing. Death Valley is such a unique place, and we are blessed with a fan base that wants to be here, and that continues to come not only what happens on the field, but all the things around it. We need to protect that. So I do not know that we have the impetus at this point in time to look at that at as another revenue stream and whether it would even make a large revenue stream. If you sold beer here, there would be other things that are part of the Clemson tradition that might have to be altered, and we are not ready to go down that road at all." Schools such as Maryland, Minnesota, West Virginia, Texas and others will sell beer for the upcoming season.
