Position: Head Coach

-Swinney said that Vic Beasley's sack was one for the ages. It is something that you dream about.

-He joked with B.J. Goodson that he might be the third and one runner after watching him run (interception return).

-He said that Watson played better game this week compared to last week. He continues to play lights out football for us.

-It was Mike Williams' birthday today and he had 6 catches and 2 touchdowns.

-He is excited about the progress he has seen from the last two weeks in a row on special teams. Humphries had 4 returns for 40 yards.

-Tony Steward has a strained hamstring.

-Guillermo has a broken foot and has to put a screw in his foot. He could be out 3 or 4 weeks.

-Ben Boulware had a concussion.

-Cole Stoudt has an AC sprain which is good news because we thought it might be separated.

-Watson is a 5 star recruit but a 10 star person.

-We have a lot of character on this team. Sometimes the scoreboard don't go our way but let's focus on playing the right way. All we have done is gotten better. We have improved tremendously over the first five games.

-We can't fold the tent in September. 21 wins in a row versus unranked opponents. Anything can happen. This is college football. There is a lot of crazy things that can happen in October and November.

-First shutout since I have been head coach. We have been close. We had a shutout against S.C. State but offense gave up a score. It's hard to do obviously. I am really proud of that.

-Our guys won in the trenches. It was a long day for their quarterback and I have a lot of respect for that quarterback.

-Adam (Choice) didn't practice Weds and Thursday but he did a lot of good things. I think we can all agree that Mike Williams has been pretty special for us.

-We talked about setting tempo earlier.

-Missed a 48 yarder - not a concern. Hit it well...just pulled it a little to the left.

-Williams is a bigger, faster, stronger nuk (Hopkins).

-Had tremendous coverage and excellent pass rush today.

-Charone Peake didn't play. It will pay off and wanted to let her knee settle down.
