Position: Head Coach

Swinney said "as tough a loss as I've ever been a part of. Some critical mistakes that cost us. Proud of the effort that was displayed."

He was proud of the effort of the players and the coaches.

We have to find a way to finish those games.

There are a lot of positives. We can play with anybody. We have to get better at the little things. "Little things like fundamentals hold up under pressure in critical situations and that's where we have to get better."

"We have had two tough ones on the road."

We are an improved team after three games. We were much improved last night from where we started the season. The experience will pay dividends for us.

"We will pick ourselves up and keep moving forward."

Just some major mistakes. The play of Deshaun Watson was special to watch unfold.

"Defensively, not a lot of negatives. Very proud of how they played."

"I thought we dominated on the trenches."

Injury-wise we have some guys beat up. Martin Jenkins is the only one that is questionable with a mid-foot sprain. It looks like all hands on deck.

Leggett hurt his left knee but there was no swelling and it did not look bad and we are pretty confident we will have him back. Just was sore during the game.

Yes, Deshaun will get the opportunity to start this week. It really isn't anything Cole did as much as it was what Deshaun did.

"Cole did fine except for that one throw." He was disappointed and it is a tough thing to deal with. We will continue give him a chance to compete and play.

C.J. (Davidson) had the hot hand during the game.

I love how our guys played in the trenches.

Jay Guillermo had a sore hamstring and couldn't get back in the game.

Corey Crawford and Stephone Anthony were the players of the game on defense. "I am really proud of those guys." Second straight Player of the Game for Anthony.

Deshaun Watson was the offensive player of the game. Clemson has not awarded a special teams player of the game yet.
