WATCH: Mike Williams hauls in glorious diving TD

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson receiver Mike Williams is healthy and ready to be a huge weapon for the Chargers in 2018.

Williams hauled in a diving 42-yard touchdown from veteran quarterback Phillip Rivers in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Rams.

Williams was on the ground for a minute but eventually walked off the field without the help of the training staff. It appeared that he got the wind knocked out of him after diving for the football.

For the season, he has 8 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Update: Williams scored his second touchdown of the game in the third quarter:

Williams was not the only Clemson WRU alumni to score a touchdown as Sammy Watkins and Jaron Brown also had touchdown catches.
