Vegas odds on Clemson-Kent State

Clemson won their second National Championship with their thrilling 35-31 win over Alabama this past season. It's almost time for the Tigers to try to defend their college football crown against a tough 2017 schedule.

South Point sports book announced their betting odds recently on several games for Week 1 of the upcoming college football season.

Clemson has opened up as a massive 40-point favorite against Kent State on Saturday, September 2 at noon in Death Valley on ESPN.

Other notable betting odds for the opening week of games include Georgia as a 11 point favorite over App State (upset alert), North Carolina State as a 8 point favorite against South Carolina, Michigan as a 3-point favorite against Florida, Alabama as a four-point favorite against Florida State (upset alert), Virginia Tech as a five-point favorite against West Virginia, and Tennessee as a 3-point favorite against Georgia Tech.
