Tigers fall in baseball polls |
No. 5 seed Clemson begins 2017 ACC Baseball Championship play this week at Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, Ky. As a member of Pool D, No. 9 Duke (28-27, 12-18 ACC) faces Clemson (39-17, 17-13 ACC) Tuesday, May 23 at 7 p.m.
The 2017 ACC Tournament features a pool-play format, leading into a four-team, single elimination bracket. Baseball America released their latest Top 25 rankings on Monday morning and the Tigers dropped three spots to No. 17 overall. In the newest D1 Baseball rankings, the Tigers dropped five spots to No. 18 overall. Clemson's RPI is still very high at nine overall. Baseball America Top 25
