The Seminoles entered the season with talks of the program being back on the national scale. However that was farthest from the truth. It started with three straight losses beginning with top-ranked Oklahoma in Week 3 followed by losses to Clemson and Wake Forest. Once again, Florida State should be considered a possible title contender, thanks in part to its stellar defense. FSU was ranked fourth in the nation in total defense and again they will get tested against the high-powered offense of Clemson.
