Sammy Watkins Watkins, Clemson's outstanding rising sophomore receiver, was arrested in early May for marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance. Swinney has yet to announce a punishment, but said at his golf outing Tuesday that Watkins has done what has been required of him. "He has gone above and beyond with the things that have been required of him to this point," Swinney said. "I am not surprised. He has responded very well." Swinney was then asked if Watkins could play against Auburn. "Certainly. There is a chance anything can happen," he said. "We will just wait and see talk further about it at that time."
