Swinney ranks 3rd highest paid coach in CFB

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney's new contract will place him in the top three of coaches' contract in college football behind only Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh. Swinney is scheduled to make $6 million in 2017 but will make an average of $6.75 million a year over the life of the new eight-year contract.

Swinney is 89-28 at Clemson which is the second highest winning percentage (.761) by a coach in school history to John Heisman (.833) according to ESPN Stats and Info.
