CLEMSON FOOTBALL

Schedule of Rotating Crossover ACC Football Opponents

by -

Clemson, SC — The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced all schools’ football rotating crossover opponents through the year 2024. For the foreseeable future, all ACC schools will play an eight-game conference schedule composed of six games against division teams, a permanent crossover division game and a rotating crossover game.

Clemson will play in the Atlantic Division along with Wake Forest, Boston College, Florida State, NC State, Maryland, and Syracuse in 2013. In 2014, Louisville will replace Maryland. Each year teams will have four home conference games and four away.

In 2014, North Carolina will come to Clemson as the Tigers crossover game. The following year Clemson will play at Miami (FL). In 2016, Pittsburgh will come to Clemson for the first time, and in 2017, the Tigers will travel to Blacksburg, VA.

Duke comes to Clemson in 2018 and the Tigers will travel to North Carolina in 2019. That will be just Clemson’s second trip to Chapel Hill in 17 years. The other was 2010.

Virginia comes to Clemson for the first time since 2009 when the Cavaliers travel to Tigertown in 2020. The Tigers will make their first trip to Pittsburgh in 2021. Miami (FL) will come to Clemson for the first time since 2005 when the Hurricanes play at Clemson in 2022. The Tigers play at Duke in 2023 and will play host to Virginia Tech in 2024, the Hokies first trip to Clemson since this past season.
