Clemson won their second National Championship with their thrilling 35-31 win over Alabama this past season. The Tigers will be trying to defend their crown with a new quarterback in 2017 but interestingly, several national media pundits are now jumping on the Clemson bandwagon such as SEC Network's Booger McFarland.

"Clemson, Ohio St, Florida St are 3 best teams in college football going into the season," McFarland tweeted earlier in the week.

The ACC Atlantic division is starting to get a lot of respect with the national media and McFarland even left out traditional SEC power Alabama.

However, most Clemson fans will never take Booger seriously again after McFarland predicted that Gamecocks quarterback Jake Bentley would outplay Heisman finalist Deshaun Watson in the 2016 Palmetto Bowl.

Watson went 27-for-33 for 341 yards with six passing touchdowns and an interception while Jake Bentley finished 7-for-17 for 41 yards and an interception in the 56-7 laugher.
