Report: Mike Williams visiting with AFC team

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson standout Mike Williams could be the No. 1 wide receiver off the draft board in the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft. NFL teams have been vying for an opportunity to get him to take visits to their facilities to get an up-close look at the big-time playmaker.

NFL Network is reporting that Williams will be visiting the Cleveland Browns on Friday for a visit as they have the No. 1 and No. 12 pick in the first round. He is certainly a possibility for teams around that No. 12 selection.

Williams had an impressive NFL Combine combined with a fast Pro Day and already visited the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans.

In 2016, Williams had 98 receptions for 1361 yards and 11 touchdowns. He had 177 catches for 2727 yards and 21 touchdowns (and his degree) over 38 games during his impressive collegiate career at Clemson.
