Louisville announces "blackout" game against Clemson |
No. 2 Clemson vs. No. 14 Louisville game is a big-time matchup happening at Papa John Stadium on Saturday night that could determine the eventual winner of the ACC Atlantic division.
ESPN's crew has deemed it worthy of a College GameDay site, and the game was moved to 8 p.m. to give it a primetime spot on television and for the home crowd to get rowdy and prepared for the Tigers. Louisville is taking it another step further in hoping for a home field advantage as they will be wearing their all-black uniforms and wanting their fans to wear all-black as they have called for a "blackout game" against Clemson. Do different uniform combos and blackout games work? It usually works up until you get hit in the mouth by your opponent on the first play and then it becomes all about football again. Louisville going to do a blackout for the Clemson game. Football team will wear black uniforms too. This place is going to be a zoo.
