Dexter Lawrence is a freak of nature with his size and speed on Clemson's defensive line. The ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year is only a sophomore and ready to wreak havoc again in 2017.

NFL.com released their Top 25 players in college football on Monday and ranked Lawrence No. 15 on the national list. In the fan voting, he was voted the top defensive lineman coming in at No. 12 overall.

"Lawrence has incredible quickness and athleticism for an interior defender," NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah said. "His upside is limitless."

His colleague Charles Davis had the following take on Lawrence's remarkable abilities.

"Establishes a tone for the defending national champs with his size and stoutness inside," Davis said. "Also, shows tremendous agility and pass-rush skills (7 sacks). He was just a freshman last season."

In 2016, Lawrence had 78 tackles including a Clemson true freshman record seven sacks.

"Lawrence was the most dominant freshman in college football last year. Most defensive tackles are good at holding their ground against double teams or penetrating to make plays, but not both," NFL.com's Chase Goodbread said. "Lawrence does both consistently well."
