Latest NCAA projection for Clemson Baseball |
The season is now officially halfway complete as Baseball America released on Wednesday their
projected fieldfor the NCAA baseball tournament field of 64 teams. Clemson in the projection was the #4 national seed that played at home at the Clemson (S.C.) Regional as the #1 seed with Baylor (#2 seed), East Carolina (#3 seed) and Mercer (#4 seed).
The national seeds were in order: Oregon State, North Carolina, Texas Tech, Clemson, Florida, Texas Christian, Louisville, and Arizona. The last four in the projected field were Mississippi, North Carolina State, East Carolina, and Louisiana-Lafayette. The first four out were South Florida, Texas A&M, Central Florida, and UCLA. The next four out were Texas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Loyola Marymount. D1Baseball.com had Clemson as a #4 overall playing at the Clemson Regional with #2 seed Vanderbilt, #3 UCF, and #4 College of Charleston.
