Incoming freshmen not eligible for trip to Italy

by - Senior Writer -

Clemson head coach Brad Brownell told the media Wednesday afternoon at Littlejohn Coliseum that incoming freshman post players Sidy Djitte and Ibrahim Djambo won't make the trip to Italy with Clemson's basketball team in early August.

Brownell said that both players have yet to be admitted to Clemson, but he expects the admittance to be final with 48-72 hours. However, to be able to practice with the team and play on the team, player's had to pass a class before being eligible.

Brownell said he sees no issue with their enrollment, and expects to have both players on hand when the fall semester begins.
