I often hear people say that Clemson has changed so much from the time they were students. This may be true, but consider the huge changes during the 1950s. The following two photos really illustrate this point.

The above photo was taken around 1952 or so. Notice the Trustee House in the background and the partial view of the second barracks on the right.

Now take a look at the photo below taken in just about the same location just 9 years later, around 1961. You can still see the Trustee House in the background, but other than that everything else has changed, including both the campus and the students.
