Former Clemson QB signs with Ravens

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson quarterback David Olsen has signed with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. He worked out for the team on Thursday and will be used for a camp arm. Hopefully, he can battle his way at least onto a coveted practice squad spot.

The Ravens needed another quarterback on their roster after Joe Flacco is expected to miss some action with some back issues.

Last season, Olsen played in the Champions Indoor Football League for the Kansas City Phantoms.

He played at Stanford for four years before transferring to Clemson for a year as a graduate transfer. At Clemson, Olsen was 1-for-3 passing for 15 yards.
